NTC to exhibit at CTI Berlin – 30 Nov to 3 Dec 09
21-Oct-2009
NTC Powertrain is to exhibit at next months CTI in Berlin. This follows on the success at the recent CTI held earlier this year in Detroit. Although the number of CTI participants was down (during some of the darkest days of the global financial crisis) NTC was well pleased with the many new opportunities explored in becoming technology partners for major OEM’s.
NTC is looking to further develop existing and new client relationships and to develop new associations for those companies looking to develop advanced transmissions from concept through prototype, testing and software development to production readiness.
NTC specialises in developing AT, DCT/DSG, MT, AMT’s and transfer cases in high volume passenger cars as well as specialised commercial applications.
At the recent CTI in Detroit, GM presented a paper on their new 7 speed DCT in which NTC developed the X22R project to prototype and demonstrator stage including software development and in-vehicle calibration. The project was engineered at NTC’s headquarters in Sydney Australia using locally manufacture prototypes.
